Messing with texture was my biggest challenge, for myself, and I really wanted to incorporate photography and drawing into my design for the Kansas City Brew Fest. I wanted to use texture with photographs to give 3d while also adding a personal touch to the type by drawing the word mark.

I started working mostly with grain for texture since I had never really used it before, which made it interesting to use. The grain effect grew on me. I wasn’t sure if I was going to keep it, but it made a good second texture to the beer bubbles.
